AZ Hype Basketball

The Hype had the great opprotunity to play against some of the top elite teams in the country at the Deep South Classic tournament held in Raleigh NC.  Teams like Team Extreme of Ohio, CT Breeze, Basket of Dreams from OK, NY Abyssinian, and a team from the Cayman Island.

Over 245 teams attended this tournament and numerous top colleges from around the United States.  AZ Hype had thier wins and losses but played hard and never gave up.

Example the first game agaisnt Team Extrenme of Ohio which lead at halftime by 17.  The AZ Hype battled back to win in over time showing the college coaches in attendance, the talent in Arizona.  Some even moving from other courts to see the play of the Hype.  One coach from the Texas area said it was one of the best comebacks she saw during the tournament.
